We are shaping the future of collecting culture.

What started with a shared passion for trading cards has grown into one of Europe’s most relevant platforms for collectors, creators, and brands. As the company behind CARDMADNESS – Germany’s largest card show – we build events, formats, and connections that go beyond the convention floor.

We create spaces where collecting becomes culture.
Where business meets passion.
Where stories, brands, and communities come to life.

Whether you’re a collector, a partner, or just curious – you’re in the right place.

This is more than a hobby.
This is culture in motion.

ACTUAL NEWS
  • Action Comics No. 1 Sets New Record with $15 Million Sale — Most Valuable Comic Ever

A rare and historic copy of Action Comics No. 1, the 1938 comic that introduced Superman and essentially launched the superhero genre, has just sold for an astounding $15 million, setting a new all-time record for the most expensive comic book ever sold.

The private sale was brokered by New York-based Metropolis Collectibles/ComicConnect, with both buyer and seller choosing to remain anonymous. This result eclipses the previous record of $9.12 million, achieved in late 2025 by a pristine copy of Superman No. 1 discovered in a family attic and sold at auction.

What makes this particular comic even more remarkable is its dramatic backstory: the same copy was once owned by actor Nicolas Cage, stolen from his home in 2000 and later recovered from a storage locker in 2011. According to CGC population data, fewer than 100 copies of Action Comics No. 1 are known to exist today, and examples graded at the highest levels are exceptionally rare. Vincent Zurzolo of Metropolis Collectibles called the comic “among the holy grail of comic books,” underscoring its unmatched cultural importance — not just as a collectible, but as a cornerstone of pop culture history.

  • Heritage Auctions Smashes Records with $2.15 Billion in Sales in 2025

Heritage Auctions, the world’s largest collectibles auction house, has closed 2025 with an all-time sales record, generating more than $2.15 billion across its diverse categories — from sports cards and comic books to fine art and memorabilia. This marks the fifth consecutive year that the company has set a new annual benchmark.

The total of $2,158,204,321 not only surpasses Heritage’s previous high of $1.867 billion in 2024 but also highlights the continued strength and passion within the global collectibles market. CEO Steve Ivy emphasized that the year’s success was driven by consistency and depth of demand, proving that collectors worldwide remain deeply committed to acquiring culturally significant and historically important objects.

Standout sales that helped power this record year included:
    • The Kobe Bryant–Michael Jordan Dual Logoman card, which set a new record price for any sports card sold at public auction.
    • The iconic “Rosebud” sled from Citizen Kane, which fetched $14.75 million.
    • Frank Frazetta’s 1967 “Conan” cover painting, achieving a record for comic and fantasy art at auction.
    • A top-graded copy of Superman No. 1, which brought in $9.12 million.

In addition to these headline results, Heritage’s sports category alone delivered over $189 million in sales, while the historic numismatics segment — the foundation of the company when it opened in 1976 — posted $470 million.

Heritage also reported that it now has more than 2 million registered online bidders, underscoring its unmatched global reach as the collectibles market continues to grow.
